Which one should you pick?
On a $5,000 trade, Fomo is the cheaper of the two. Beyond cost it comes down to which fits how you trade — here's each in short.
Photon — The simple one
Photon has been around since 2023 and keeps things simple. It is stable, well documented and easy to learn, but it offers neither a referral discount nor cashback, so you pay the full 1 % on every trade, and it has fallen behind the others on features in 2026.
Fomo — Best mobile app
Fomo is a real iOS and Android app rather than a bot, with Apple Pay and card deposits and a social feed that shows what other traders are buying. Its 0.5 % fee is the lowest percentage on this list, but the 0.95 USD minimum per trade makes small trades expensive: below about 190 USD per trade it becomes the priciest option.
